Travel Packing
Is Theme Of
4-H Program
"Packing for Travel"
was the topifc used by Mrs.
Bertha Forte as she spoke
to the Best Better 4-H Club
at its regular meeting held
recently at Mariam Boyd

Mrs. Forte urged 4-H

to show responsibility in
making plans, especially
those relating to travel.
Packing for a trip should
not be done at the last
minute, but should start
early with the making of a
list of articles, and
checking them off as they
are put in the travel bag.
She also told 4-H members
how important it is to
always be prepared by
having a first aid and
sewing kit.
Mrs. Forte's presenta
tion was most fitting as 4-H
members will be attending
4-H Camp, 4-H Congress,
summer school and the
annual 4-H summer trip.

to order by George
Franklin, president. After
the pledges, the devotion
was led by Maggie Patrick,
devotional leader.

report on the Leaders' As
sociation and 4-H members
gave a review of the work
of the County Council.

tion leader, gave a report
