The reception at the Baptist par sonage Thursday night of last week by the Baraca-Philathea classes of the church was the biggest thing in the way of a reception held in this town in many a day. The invitation given extended not only to the Sun day school but to all members of the church and their families. There were more than three hundred present during the evening and "all had a good time" as it was expressed by many that were present. The guests enjoyed the amuse ments that had been provided and especial iy is this true of the good music both instrumental and vocal. The refreshments were not neglected and were served in abundance.
