The North Carolina House of Repre

any woman-who has been the victim
of criminal assault or attempted crim

on our part to such an act becoming
law. In fact, we rather welcome it.
It may savor at first of a trespass up
on the privilege of a free press, but
careful thought will dispel that idea,
and while it does not need a law to

to refrain from publishing the names
of such victims, yet if it will do any
