Evans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess L. Evans, of Kansas City, Mo., August 3 in Kansas City. The double ring ceremony was held at the home of the groom's parents. The Rev. Paul E. Fish er officiated. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Lewis Holland, wore a pale rose suit with white accessories and her corsage was of red roses trim med with white carnations. She wore a gold necklace, a gift of the bridegroom. Miss Martha Holland, Cousin of the bride, was maid of hon or. She wore a beige suit with brown accessories and her cor sage was of yellow roses. Jesse Evans, Jr. served as his brother's best man. Tapers were lighted by the groom's niece, Diane Louise Evans. A reception was held at the groom's home after the cere mony. Mr. and Mrs. Evans left for a motor trip to California and Western North Carolina. For traveling the bride wore a pale blue shantung suit with navy accessories. Her corsage was of roses.
