Cullasaja 4-H Club Feted With Party Cullasaja 4-H clubbers were , feted Feb. 14 in the school audi torium with a Valentine party by their leader. Mrs. Charlie Bowers ? Eighteen were present. Games were played and an old time spell ing bee was held. Present as guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Bryson. He is head of the Cullasaja community organi zation. The Cullasaja 4-H made plans for participating in the 4-H parade in March, which will be held as a feature of the celebration of "National 4-H Week". Nantahala Girl Makes Meredith's Dean's List Miss Bobbie Conley, of Nanta hala. was one of 72 students at Meredith College who made the dean's list for the grading period just ended. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rich ard Conley. Bobbie is a member of the athletic association and is managing editor of the college newspaper. FRED CORBIN (Community Reporter' Committees for 1957 contest have been appointed by the Hig donville Rural Community De velopment Organization. Brookshire Enters Dental School At George Washington James Wendell Brookshire, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Brookshire, of Franklin, Route 1, has entered the dental school of George Wash ington University, Washington, D. C., it has been learned here. Mr. Brookshire. a graduate of Western Carolina College, has been with the DuPont Corporation, at Aiken, S. C., for several years. Mrs. Brookshire. the former Miss Joan Potts, and their infant daughter, have joined Mr. Brook shire in Washington.
