rally in Swain County next Wed
nesday, July 9. and hear Gov.
Luther H. Hodges speak.
A barbecue dinner is planned
following the governor's speech
at the new Swain High School
gymnasium at 4 o'clock. Tickets
to the barbecue are available
through the local chamber of com
merce.
About 500 are expected to at
tend from Macon, Swain, Hay
wood. Jackson, Clay. Cherokee,
and Graham counties.
Purpose of the seven-county
rally is to inject some new life
into the chambers of commerce.
