By DOROTHY McNEILL Jr. Woman's Club The Aberdeen Junior Woman’s Club held its ■ December meeting in the American Legion Hut on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Cliff Wil son, president, presided over a short business session at which time the following new members were welcomed into the club; Mrs. Lawrence Johnson, Mrs. Eu- gen^ Deese, Mrs. John Bowman, Mrs. Buster Buffkin, Mrs. Boyce Woodruff, Mrs. Leonard Callo way, Mrs. E. R. Graham, and Mrs. Lee Buchan. Mrs. D. E. Hancock led the group in singing Christmas carols and then gave a reading of “Santa Goes Commercial.” Mrs. B. Simmons presented Mrs. Charles Dunn, who gave an in teresting program on how to make Christmas decorations, showing different ways in which they may be used. Refreshments of coffee, nuts, calce and sand wiches were served at the con clusion of the meeting. Personals Miss Iris Matthews of Sanford is spending the holidays with her j parents, Mr. and Mrs. Knox Matthews. Mr. and Mrs. S. C. YeUand have arrived from Howell, Mich., to spend the holidays with Mr. and Idts. W. H. McNeill, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hargett spent Monday in Olivia with rel atives. Mrs. R. C. Langdon and chil dren of Kingsport, Tenn., are vis iting Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Capps. Miss Blla Ruth McNeill of Rock ingham is spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. McNeill. Miss Maurine Sugg of Char lotte spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. M. N. Sugg. Mr. and Mrs. William F. Koontz and children of Ports mouth, Va., arrived Tuesday to be holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. O- L. Sykes. Dr. and Mrs. John K. Robert son and children of Pembroke spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. McNeill. Mrs. H. E. Bowman was in Charlotte, Monday. Miss Jo Sue Wallace of Dur- hsim has arrived home to spend the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Wallace. Mr. and Mrs. O. L.
