today at her home at a brides
maids’ luncheon honoring Miss
Lynne Sherrerd, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. S. Donsild Sherrerd,
whose marriage to Ens. Philip
White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert
W. White, takes place Saturday
afternoon at the Pinehurst Com
munity Church. The groom’s par
ents will be hosts to the bridal
party at a dinner Friday night at
the Carolina Hotel.

Courses For Girl
Scouts Planned
A basic group leadership
course in Girl Scouting is being
given three nights at the Catho
lic School here next week, it has
been annoimced by Miss Cathryn
