A-B Tech Sets Winter Registration A-B Tech will hold Winter Quarter registration on Monday, Nov. X, for individuals who have submitted ap plications by Nov. 30, 19M Registra tion will be held from ? a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and from 3:15 p.m. to ? p.m. Individuals who do not apply by Nov. 30 will be admitted after Nov. 31 on a space available basis. The A-B Tech Winter Quarter schedule for evening classes includes courses m microcomputers, word processing, and physical fitness in addition to general education classes. Limited space in daytime classes is also available. Tutoring is available for students in basic math, English, and reading through the College's Guided Studies program. Former CIA Officer At UNCA Bestselling author and former CIA officer Victor Marchetti will give two public lectures Nov. IS and 16 at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Sponsored by UNCA's Political Science Association, Marchetti's talks are part of a campus-wide PSA program titled "Big Brother Over America? ? 1964 and Beyond." Marchetti, the author of the con troversial bestseller titled "The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence," will speak Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the private dining room of the Highsmith University Center. He will speak Fri day at 11 a.m. in the Carmichaei Humanities Lecture Hall. Both talks are open to the public free of charge. For 15 years, beginning in 1955 when he was recruited out of graduate school, Marchetti worked for the CIA as a Soviet military analyst. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The event will be hosted by the couple's children, Mrs. Anna Belle Silver of Marshall, Mrs. Helen Bartlett of Swannanoa, Mrs. Geneva Heath of Oakley, Charles Wyatt of Woodfin and Glenda Buckner of Leicester. Mrs. Wyatt was the former Elizabeth Rich of Mars Hill. The couple were married on November 21, 1934 in Madison County by Joe Arlington . Mr. Wyatt is a retired carpenter and farmer.
