TIm Hot Springs Health Program is a community based, non-profit corporation formed in April, 1971 to provide out patient and home based primary medical services for the residents of central and western Madison county. Dental services are offered at the Hot Springs office. Services are provided through three medical offices and visits (anywhere in Madison County) to homebound patients, utilizing the services of specially trained health care professionals; including a Family Practitioner, and Internist, a Pediatrician, a Family Nurse Practitioner, a Physician's Assistant, a Pharmacist, Registered Nurses and Clinical Assistants, in the pharmacy, radiography and laboratory. Die Hot Springs Health Program operates three modern medical facilities: Marshal-Walaat Medical Center (purchased and renovated in 1978), Laurel Medical Cotw (built in 1 980), and Hot Spriags Medical ami Dental Canter (built in 1983). The Hot Springs Health Program operates a "fee-for-service" practice and fees are set to cover expenses. A special grant award allows the Program to reduce the fees charged for patients who are unable to afford the full fee for service. To be eligible for discount payment, proof of income is required. Third party reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, Workman's Corap, and private carriers are accepted. The Program offers a comprehensive range of primary care service, with ?
