L, Prevost were hostesses at a cof fee hour Friday . morning in the home of Mrs. Prevost. Fall flowers in shades of bronze and yellow were used throughout the living rooms in decorating. The dining table was covered with a Madeira cloth and was centered with a low arrangement of dahlias and asters,' : Mrs. J. E. Yountz and Mrs. Mal colm Williamson presided in the dining room during the first hour and Mrs. Hugh Massie and Mrs. C G. Thompson presided the sec ond hour. Mrs. Bill Prevost also as sisted. Around seventy-five guests were included in the affair. . Music Club Is Represented At Asheville Meet Mrs. E, J. Stanmyre, president of the Waynesville Music Club, and Mrs. Hugh Love represented the clilb at thiftnaF'lTreetin!t)ti, western district of federated music club Saturday in Asheville, - The meeting was held in the First Bap tist Church. .Mrs. Stanmyre gave the response to the address of welcome and par ticipated in a panel discussion by presidents of clubs in the district. Both Waynesville delegates re ported on the accomplishments of the local club and its projects for the coming year. Mrs. L. L. Browning, state presi dent was the principal speaker and Mrs. Arch Baylor, district director, presided. The program also featured mus. leal selections and reports of conv mittees. Miss Isenhour Is Engaged To E. O. Thomas, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Howard Isenhour of Charlotte have an nounced the engagement of their daughter. Betty Jane, to Edward Owen Thomas, Jr., of Charlotte and Asheville, son of Mrs, Edward O, Thomas and the late Mr. Thom as of Marlborough Road, Asheville. The wedding will take place No vember 16 in Myers Park Presby terian Church at Charlotte. Miss Isenhour is a granddaugh ter of (he lale Mr. and Mrs. R. Q McCracken of Waynesville. Club Meetings For This Week Are Announced . Miss Mary Cornwell, home dem onstration agent, has announced plans for home club meetings for this week as follows: The Canton Homemakers Club will meet tonight at 7 o'clock in the home of Mrs. W. H. Mendell. Tuesday at 2 p.m. the South Clyde club will meet in the home of Mrs. Walter. Rhodarmer with Mrs. Levi Haynes as associate hostess. Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. the Lake side club will meet in the home of Mrs. Claude Woodard with Mrs. Jim McClure as associate hostess. Wednesday at 2 p.m. the Francis Cove Club will meet with Mrs. Bill Hollingsworth. The Rev. Lawrence C, Newman, pastor of the church, pronounced the vows and the wedding music was presented by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi. The Sisters' choir sang "Panis .Angelicus," by Cesar Franck and Sister Coruihe ' sang 'Sttiubert's "Ave Maria". The processional and the recessional were played by Sis ter Mary Anthony, organist. The altar was decorated with palms and floor vases of white gladioli, white chrysanthemums, and lilies, interspersed with branch ed candelabra. The bride entered the church unattended. She wore a charcoal grey voistcd Milan suite with rhine- stone buttons and peacock blue and charcoal accessories. She carried a white satin prayer book showered with stephanotis and topped with a white orchid. Miss Marian Kramer of Chicago, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a navy wool gab ardine suit with navy accessories and a corsage of yellow roses, lkinz W. Rollman cousin of the bridegroom, served as best man. Following the ceremony an in formal reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Heinz Roll man. Mr. and Mrs. Waller. Kaufman and Ernest Rollman received with the bridal party and others assist ing were Mrs. Glenn Rogers and Mrs. Lewis Green, After the reception the couple left by motor for a wedding trip to New York. Upon their return they will reside at 727 Thomas Park, Waynesville. Mrs. Rollman was graduated from Menominee High School and attended Jordon College at Menom inee, Mich, She holds a position on the secretarial staff at Wellco Shoe Corporation. Mr. Rollman was graduated from Real-Pro-Gimnassum in Germany and attended college in .Braunsch weig.
