Vi diced onions, if desired j 2 eggs, unbeaten 2 heaping tbspns. flour 3 or 4 biscuits, crumbled fine 12 tsp. ground sage lVfc cups tomatoes, fresh or canned, Salt and pepper to taste cut fine Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Form into loaf and place on rack in oven over water. Cook at 400 degrees for thirty min utes, then reduce to 350 degrees and cook until done. Iron Duff CDP To Hear I I Farm Specialist Wed. The Iron Duff CDP will meet ; Wednesday night, December 9, Mr. j Morris McGough. executive secre tary of the Asheville Agricultural Council, will be guest speaker. The meeting will be held in the Sunday school room of the Davis Chapel Methodist Church. It is estimated there are 78 mil lion motor vehicles in use through out the world. Ratcliffe Cove To Elect CDP Officers Tuesday An important meeting of the Rat cliffe Cove CDP will take place Tuesday evening. December 8, at 7:30 p.m. New officers are to be elected for the coming year. Hugh Ratcliffe is present chairman. Mrs. Reeves Noland is in charge of the program for the evening and has announced that Steve Cassel, Assistant County Agent, will show slides. When the comedy "On Borrowed Time" plays in Sylva Saturday night, December 12. The play, which was a long-time success on Broadway, is Paul Os born's hilarious and sentimental phantasy, and is the Carolina Play makers new touring production. Its Sylva showing in the High School auditorium is sponsored by the C. J. Harris Hospital Junior Woman's Auxiliary. Curtain time is 8 p.m. The Playmakers are the dramatic group of students from the Uni versity of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
