KOREA, Dec 4 ? Pvt. Jack Kirkpatrick. 20. son of Mrs. Birtie Kirkpatrick. Route 1, Waynesville, is now serving "with the 24th Infantry Division in Korei. The 24th Infantry originally landed in Korea during July 1950 and spent 19 months in combat before going to Japan for secur ity duty. It returned to Korea shortly before the cease fire. Private Kirkpatrick, a mechanic in the 24th Quartermaster Com pany, entered the Army last May and completed basic training at Port Jackson, S. C.
