After the meeting was opened by president Murphy, Chaplin C. W. Shepherd led the devotion als. He made a wonderful talk on "Life After Death," with a special tribute paid to the many members of the club that passed away last year. Mrs. Sadie Steele reported cards sent to Mrs. Annie Ij ames, Mrs. Grace Ridenhour, Mrs. Taylor Call and Mrs. Vetra Milholen. Mrs. George Miller was re ported ill in Rowan Memorial Hospital. Those celebrating birthdays in February were Mrs. M. H. Hoyle, Mrs. Bessie Nail, Mrs. MM j flft fjfrM ®fe ->- i ff^JJm Hr \\l Mra. Michaal im two htnds. Senior Citizens Having A Ball Sadie Steele, Kenneth Sedberry and Baxter Hellard. The club sang Happy Birthday in honor of the occasion. The club wss happy to wel come 10 members of the Cone Mills Senior Citizens as visitors. Qub president, Mr. Reeves, made a brief talk and told several funny stories which were appreciated. Everyone visiting the Wood leaf Lanes for bowling on Feb ruary 18, reported a wonderful time. Several teams were formed and some of the club members plan to go bowling again today (Wednesday)). The club is thankful to Wood leaf Lanes for having us as guests and giving our first bowl ing lesson. Refreshments were also served to the approximate ly 35 members attending.
