State Farm SCRUB DAIRY BULLS BANISHED FROM CATAWBA with the elimination of all scrub dairy -bulls of breeding age from Within the borders of Ca tawba county, thie co\»nty now becomes third in North Carolina and one of the few in the nation to have this distinction. Official announcement of the results secured in Catawba was was made last week by John A. Arey, dairy extension specialist at State College, N. B. Nicholson who worked on the project thru out last year in cooperation with F. R. Farham, of the office of These three men, says Mr. Arey. first made a careful and detailed survey of the situation in the county. They located eve ry scrub and every pure bred the scrubs replaced with regis tered stock. In all, 66 scrubs and sonai visits were made to the 86 pure bred were found.
