Dr. Justice will preach at the Baptist Church next Sun day morning at 11 o'clock. All are cordially invited to attend this service. Mrs. Jas* Vernor, left Sat urday for New Orleans, La., be fore returning she will visit San Antonia, Texas and other Texas points. Mr. Rowell's annual Exhibits of paintings of local scenes will be held at the library every Wednesday. Opening Ex hibit next Wednesday, Feb. 28th. Mrs. E. L. We want to correct an error in regard to Dr. Justice in our last week's issue of the News Dr. Justic's father preached in Tryon 25 years ago instead of Dr. Justice. Miss Bettie Craig, who has been spending some time in Tryon with her friend Mrs. W. T. Lindsey, was called to De troit yesterday on account of illness of a relative. Mrs. George E. Bell, retuned home last week, after a two months visit with friends and relatives at the following places Washington, D.
