Blair, principal of 1 he Farm Ule School of Vanceboro. gave an Inspiring and challenging address at the Christian Men's Fellow ship-Pamlico District meeting at Jasper recently. The men met at the Community Club House as guests of the men of the Bethany Craven Christian Church. There were 124 of them, representing 10 churches of the district. The Christian churches of Mope head City, Live Oak Grove, and Otway were welt represented at the meeting. Harner Wetherington, of the host church, welcomed the guests and the Rev. M. Elmore Turner of the Broad Street Christian Church of New Bern gave the invocation. A delicious turkey supper was served by rhe ladies of the Jasper church. After the business session and the address of the evening by Mr. Blair, the meeting was closed with the Fellowship Circle. Nrwt from SEA LEVEL Feb 23 ? Mr. and Mrs. Frank Noyes and son. Alfred, are taking a two weeks vacation in different parts of Florida. They are visiting relatives and friends. Miss Sabra Noyes, who attends college at Louisberg, Green Brier College, West Va., is on the dean's list. Miss Ruth Taylor, who attends East Carolina College, Greenville, was home this weekend. A family reunion was held at the home of Mr. ami Mrs. Clem Gaskill Sunday. Relatives from different states were present They had not seen each other in 20 years. They| were all sisters and brothers of Mr. Gaskill. Among them were Mr. and Mrs. John Pierce, Mrs. Edna Hall of New Bern and others. Mrs. Sarah Lewis of Norfolk spent the weekend with her sister, Mrs. Norwood Gaskill. Hilda Lewis of Cherry Point also visited Mrs. Gaskill this week. Mr. and Mrs. Ishmel Mason and children of Atlantic visited Mrs. Mason's aunt, Mrs. Deliah Lupton, Sunday.
