Comedians Watch Jitterbug Act Even Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis are wild about the new danc ing sensation. Sheree North, who does her famous Jitterbug routine In Dean and Jerry's brand new Paramount Technicolor comedy, "Liv ing It Up." Marriage Plans Separate College Honor Students Peru, Neb. (AP) ? Oren Ar gabright, 21, and Ben Ducrfeldt, 21, started their education togeth er at a country school where both made the county honor roll and wont on to high school where they topped their class scholastically. They graduated together at Peru State Teachers College with high est academic honors in the class. Now both are going to college teaching jobs in Kansas, but their ways are separating. County Afent The State 4-H Dress Revue will be held at Raleigh Thursday night, July 22, beginning at 7:30. Etta Taylor, Carteret County Dress Re vue winner will represent the coun ty. There will be 100 girls from the state participating in this event. Fabrics and their uses are being featured. Miss Mary Em Lee, clothing specialist, is in charge of this event. Etta will wear a red and white printed broadcloth dress with four gored skirt, blouse with stand-up collar and gathered back, with white organdy full length over coat. She will model this dress with and without the coat. Her accessories are red and white. On Thursday, Cecil Gillikin will participate in the State Soil and Water Conservation Demonstration Contest. On Friday, July 23, the following state demonstration contests will be held: beekeeping, forestry, public speaking and tractor oper ation. Evening programs will fut ure recreation. On Friday evening, I the State Talent Show and candle lighting ceremony will be* held. | Saturday morning, delegates to 4-H Week will return to their homes. In about five weeks school time will be here again. Usually the first 4 H Club meetings are held the second week after school starts. At our first meeting all 4 H rec ord books are due. So now is the time to complete your project, fill out the project book and get it ready when school opens. Every one that hands in a completed rec ord book will receive a certificate of achievement this fall. Also the project winners are selected from those turning in completed records. Willie B. Lewis, 4-H'er of Bettie has a Hampshire boar pig 4 months old he would like to sell. This pig is purebred and can be regis tered. Willie B. wants $30 for the animal. It can be seen at Clay Lewis's home in Bettie. Applications for 4-H Camp are now being accepted. The cost of camp will be about $25.
