Roger Reardon and four children arrived Thuri day evening by plane from Oxnard, Cat. TTiey were caned here by the death of her father, Mr. Graham Davis. Miss Katharine Dear, Jersey City, N. J., spent the holiday week end with her sister and brother-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Lockwood Phil lips. Mr. C. Frank Jones, who is at tending summer school at Green ville, was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hamilton. Mr. Jones is a former band director at Beaufort School. Mr. W. A. Mace Jr., who is em ployed in Southport, spent the weekend at home with his family. Mr. and Mrs. O. Holland and Mr. Maurice Davis were called here Friday by the death of their brother, Mr. Graham Davis. Weekend vi?itor? with Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Spivey were Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Tyndall, Kinston, the Spivey's daughter Anne, Raleigh, and three of her friends. Miss Jeanette Rowell and Miss Marie Pearce, Henderson, and Miss Ruth Ledbetter, Asheville. Mr. James Murphy of Ft. Jack son, S. C? and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cunningham and sons, Billy and Bob, of Chatham, N. J., arrived Sunday to visit relatives in Beau fort. Holiday guests of Mrs. L. C. Davis were Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Jones and daughter. Gale, Miss Jan Davis and Mr. Percy Sharp, all of Warwick, Va., Mrs. J. G. Walters and daughter, Frances, of LaGrange and Bobby Davis of State College, Raleigh. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bashara were called here Saturday due to the illness of her father, Mr. Wil lie Guthrie. Mrs. Charles Noe will leave Sat urday for New Orleans where she will attend an international meet ing of cosmetologists. Mrs. Noe is a member of the State Board of Cosmetics Arts. Jimmy Potter left Friday by plane for New Orleans, La., to at tend NROTC camp for three weeks. Miss Catherine Potter is spend ing a week in Greensboro as the guest of Miss Sally Bruce. Mrs. Tommy Eure Hostess At Bridesmaids Luncheon Mrs. Tammy Eure entertained at a bridesmaids luncheon Friday at the Morehead Biltmore Hotel in honor of her niece, Miss Beth Roberts, who was married Satur day afternoon. A green and white motif was carried out. The table was cen tered with a long arrangement of white gladlolas and daisies and a daisy was placed on each place card. A cold plate was served for lunch with pecan ice cream and orange chiffon cake for dessert. Mrs. Eure presented the honoree a silver tray.
