Ann Street, accidentally fired the rifle in the direction of the Pinkham boy. The bullet hit him in the right eye. The rifle was reportedly owned by Ray Raffaldt, who had received it for Christmas. Ronnie Pinkham was taken to Morehead City hospital and then to St. Luke's, New Bern. An eye specialist was nat available there Sunday, but one was expected to see the youngster yesterday morn ing. Davis, the annual report on the World Federation movement was not given in Beaufort Sunday afternoon. Mr. Davis was the uncle of Robert Lee Humber, who annual ly reports on World Federation during the Christmas season in Beaufort. The report has been postponed until this coming Sunday, Jan. 3, at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Beaufort. The move to promote World Federation has been under way since Dec. 27, 1940 when the project was initiat ed by Mr. Humber on Davis Is land, Carteret County. Two Cars Scrape At Intersection ; Minor damage was donet to two cars Saturday at 3:05 p.m. in a collision at 4th and Arendell St., according to the Morehead City po lice department. Police reported that Paul Clinton Stewart, New Bern, had stopped ?n ?th street at the Arendell inter section, when his car was struck by * 1955 Chrysler being driven by John Ishmel Bell Jr., 588 Pine St., Beaufort. Bell, going west on Arendell, made a right turn it 4th and scraped Stewart's car. The investigating officer, Sgt. Bill Condie, estimated the damage to Stewart's 18S9 Chevrolet at $65 and that to Bell's auto at $S. Charges of speeding were filed Christmas day against Roger Wil liams of New Bern after the car he was driving struck a parked car at 1007 Arendell St., Morehead City. According to police reports, Wil liams was going west on Arendell and struck a parked I960 Ford be longing to John William Davis of Raleigh. Police estimated damage to the parked car at $100 and that to Wil liams' vehicle at $300. Patrolman J. C. Steele investigated. Manly Mason of the Beaufort Morehead City causeway and Don ald Wayne Mayc, 1808 Bridges St., Morehead City, were the drivers involved in a Wednesday afternoon accident. Police say that Maye, going south on 15th Street, came to a stop at Arendell. He then pulled out into the intersection and fu nded with the Mason auto which was coming east on Arendell. Po lice said that Maye stated he didn't see Mason's car until he hit it. No charges were filed against either driver by Sgt. Bill Condie of the Morehead City police depart ment, who investigated. Damage to Maye's car, which is owned by Ottis Purifoy, Morehead City, was estimated at $85 and that to Mason's 1953 Ford was set at $100. Dec. 28? Mr. and Mrs. Frank N?yes left Tuesday to spend Christmas with their children in Miami, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Griffin of Conover, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tosto and daughter of Raleigh are spending the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Testo.
