Shallotte A Shallotte man was sentenced to 45 days in jail after pleading guilty in Brunswick County District Court last week to a charge of misde meanor possession of drug para phernalia. Lorcncc Ottis Hill of Hale Swamp Road had been charged with posses sion with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and a second count of sell ing or delivering the drug. Hill pleaded guilty to the misde meanor charge as part of a plea bar gain under which the stale agreed to dismiss reduce the first count and drop the second. Judge Jerry Jolly also sentenced Hill to one year in prison, suspended on the condition that he pay the costs of court and S30 restitution, perform 24 hours of community ser vice and consent to warrentless searches of his person, home and au tomobiles. He was put on supervised probation for two years. Judge Jolly presided over court Tuesday and Wednesday, while Judge Ola Lewis heard cases Thurs day. Attorney Rick Green prosecut ed cases for the state.
