Judge Richard Dixon was the guest speaker for the meeting and he spoke briefly on conditions in Germany. The meeting closed with prayer by Rev. C. W. Duling. . CIRCLE HONORS MEMBERS Mrs. Noah Felton entertained mem bers of the Senior Circle of the Wo man's Society of Christian Service and a few friends at her home Mon day afternoon, August 16, honoring three of the members whose birth days were in August A very inspirational program was given. Those taking part were Mrs. Noah Felton, Mrs. G. E. Fields, Mrs. Wilson Reed, Mrs. C. 0. Fowler and Mrs. E. R. Meekins, wife of the pas tor on Center Hill charge. She brought a beautiful message. ' After the business was attended to the group was invited in the dining room! The table' was covered with a lovely lace cloth, in the center of the table was a beautiful bowl of purple asters, and at the end of the table was a lovely birthday cake with the names of the three members whose birthdays were' in August ; ..Baskets of nuts were at each place around the table. ' In Maryland Mr. and Mrs. Max Campbell visited relatives at Easton, Md., over the week-end. Mr. Campbell returned home Sunday, but Mrs. Campbell re mained for a two weeks visit ENTERTAINS AT LUNCHEON Mrs. R. L. Knowles was hostess to & delightful luncheon Tuesday at her home. Woodard were joint hostesses to their rook club last Thursday evening at thp home of Mrs. Tarkineton. Those enjoying the .evening were Mesdames Ernestyne Leete, L. J.
