There is also much fun on the
Festival programs. Last year a
GI wedding took place, an idea
worthy of the great Barnum,
and this year that GI and his
wife were invited back and presented
with a gift in a large
crate, being required to say, "We
shall use this gift," and when
the gift bore, was opened, it was
a child's high chair. So far, the
GI couple are childless. L .R.
Russell has founded an institution
for interracial fel'owship
and good will, which will go on
and perpetuate his memory for
many years and for generations.
This black man has joined the
Mever-to-be-Forgottens.
In ;the war years, the prizes
presented to the winning musical
outfits were war bonds; in
peace, years, the most appropriate,
;awards;.are. savings' bonds.
