Sometijnes she wants to be the warm, soft beauty a man wishes to protect and some times .she wants to be the cold, efficient business person who can compete with any man. At times she wants a man to do things for' her; other times she wishes to be. independent. And pity the poor man wiio can’t tell the difference. Is there a solution to this di lemma? The same is true of mar ried W'omen. It would not be cor rect to say that one's marital sta tus has nothing to do with self- fulfillment. But is is correct to say that self-fulfillment is pos sible, though in different ways, both for the single and for the married. Fourth, the roles of married women c:in change at various times in life. In the first phase of her married life a woman might find satisfaction in her wife and- RALEIGH, N.
