PUR8LEY Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Herndon Purs- ley were held at 8 p. m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Beau'dsn and Dr. Charles Edwards of ficiating. Burial was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mrs. Pursley, 69, of 900 S. Watterson St., died Saturday at 8 a. m. at Cleveland Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Pinkney Herndon. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, James Howard Pursley; one son, James Wllham Pursley of Shelby; and two grandchildren. Harris Funeral Home had charge of arrange ments.
