There were 16 rejection* for reason* at health with 100 person* giving a pint of blood. Steve Rathbone, veteran OiiiXln Drug Co., employe, reached the eight gallon status at the Bloodmobile visit with James T. Ouffey attaining the seven gallon mark and Eugene Pat terson reaching the four gallon mark. Said a spokesman, "The Bethware School P-TA, the Oeveland County Chapter American National Red Cross, and each rec4>lent ofblood would like to thank each of these donors for making the bloodmobile a success." A "Fllntstones" bir thday party was held at the Berry home and Andy's decorated birthday cake was served to ao young blends. He Is grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Teal Childers of the Dixon Community and Mrs. Ola Berry of Kings Mouitsdn. Girl Scouts of King-Ctty- Grove Neighborhood will celebrate Girl Scout Thinking Day Feb. 38 at a Taste Fair at First Presbyterian Church Scout Hut In preparation for hooting the event, Ttoop IBB Girl ScouU of Flnt Presbyterian Church learned about Greece from a native of Athena and made plana to serve Greek country as feature of their regular Thursday night meeting. NafsUena Ganarl, a native of Greece, who came to this country, six monthe ago and Is a senior exchange student at Ash- brook High School In Gastonia, defighted the Scouts with her travelogue of Greece. NafsUena, edio speaks five languages, and EngUsh fluently, said she has always been "fascinated with foreign languages and loves school la America.” She has studied English for ten years and speaks fluently. Replying to a question about food and drink In Greece, NafsUena said there Is no drug and alcohol problem among teenagers In Greece because there’s no age Umlt that a young person can purchase alcohol. Wine Is served at meals, no soft drinks, and kids also go to school an Saturday, although a regular classday ends about 3:90. Explaining that the weather Is "very hot" In Naflillena said that stores and businesses also close about 3:80 p. m. and reopen again at 8:80. "Everyone goee home and takes a nap,” said N^>- sllena. Students In America also receive more vacation time than Greek students, sold Napsllena, noting that the summer vacation starts In July and Christmas and Easter Napsllena loves hamburgers, which she loves, at the tense at her American parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.
