Ask any service man or anyone you may be In question about, for some type of Identification. If you still have any question or doubt his identity In any way, don’t let him In. don’t get on. If you do get on and find yourself "trapped,’’ push all but tons, get off at the next stop. Be aware of places like doorways, under stairs or any place that men may hide. When listing your name on your mailbox, on the door or In the telephone book, list only a first Initial and last name. Don’t use your full name. The Birthday People Tasha Is One Year Old about 6:30. Know your neighbor. You may need a helping hand If an emergency should arise. If by mistake you do let someone In, pretend you’re not alone. Mention that your husband Is asleep or In another part of the house. Vary your routine as often as you can. Most rapes are planned. Don’t give anyone a regular pattern to follow. If you go out after dark, or you know it will be dark on your return, leave a light on. Come back home to a well lit entrance. If you are about to get on an elevator, but you feel a man Is waiting for you. When you do return home, have keys ready before getting to the door, preferably, get your keys ready before getting out of the car.
