The straight dark line contains those blocks necessary to cre- ate a majority minority ward as one of six wards; the straight and dotted line contains those blocks necessary for one of five wards; and the straight, dotted and shaded outlined area contains those blocks necessary to create a majority minority ward as one of four wards. The Redistricting committee, headed by Elections Board Chairman Becky Cook, is leaning toward the three options, as out- lined in the map, and will conduct a public hearing April 11 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall to get input from the public.
