= July 20,2008 SOCIAL BRIEFS The Kings Mountain Herald Page 17, GCPL to host Extreme Reality program for teens The Gaston County Public Library will host “Extreme Reality,” a fast-paced, interac- tive “dress rehearsal” for real life with motivational speaker and educational consultant Marcey Walsh at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2008 inside the library’s auditorium at 1555 E. Garrison Boulevard in Gastonia. In this free event, open to youth in grades 6-12, teens can learn how to handle the reality of life. Tickets on sale for Class of ‘88 reunion The Kings Mountain High School Class of 1988 will be holding its 20th-year reunion from 7-11 p.m. at Cleveland Country Club on Saturday, August 9, 2008. The reunion will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and on-site photography by Shelby Camera and Video. Tickets for $40 per person and $80 per couple are on sale now until July 15.
