o Gold Star Banquet Held Steve Hundley, assistant minister at First Presbyterian Church, presented a musical pro gram at Thursday night’s Gold Star Banquet sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Unit ISS at the American Legion Building. A covered dish supper was served to members and 12 guests, including Gold Star Mothers, Fathers, Wives and Sisters from the area. The honored guests were given momentoes of the occasion. Mr. Hundley accompanied himself on the guitar and sang favorites of the guests. Mrs. Charles Hampton and Mrs. J.D. Barrett arranged the program. Mrs. Clara Rhea, Unit presi dent, presided and thanked the members for their support of the recent dance benefit for a veterans project and a scholar ship fund. More than $300 was raised from the dance, which featured music by “The Images.” MACRAME CLASS A macrame class begins tonight (Tuesday) at the KM Community Center at 6:30 p.m. with Nina Oliver as instructor. Classes, under sponsorship of Cleveland Tech, continue each Tuesday. A registration fee of S5 is charged.
