Page 7-THE NEWS~May 1980 Hebrew Academy Notes Children eqjojring the Academy Seder. Story telling time at the Seder. Passover Seder On March 26 the Hebrew Academy held its Annual Fami ly Seder at Temple Israel. All of the parents and siblings of each Academy child were invited. Over 100 people attended the event which was enjoyed by all. In addition to the traditional Passover blessings, everyone was treated to special Passover segments presented by the various grade groupings. The K- 1 group sang the four questions and a number of other holiday selections. The second and third graders presented a play in segments depicting Passover Seders throughout history. They also led the Hebrew dan cing. The older group presented an unique Passover Seder in which all of the participating members were played by hand puppets including Fozzie Bear and other well known puppet creatures. Everyone partook of a light meal which consisted of some traditional Pesach foods highlighted by charoset made at the Academy by the kindergarten and first graders. Several girls from Chai BBG were there to assist and serve as part of their commitment to community service. f Having fun at the Academy Purim Carnival. 0 4 ; -Xi Academy children and their families enjoying the Seder.
