Page 1-Supplement-CJN-September, 1984 JCC Fall Class Schedule We’re Moving On September 17 the Jewish Community Center will be moving from its present loca tion at 600 N. Sharon Amity to the Armstrong House, which sits adjacent to the site of the new center. Center programs will take place at the Armstrong House and at other locations in the community as has been the J’s practice over the past year. The Hebrew Academy has graciously agreed to provide space to the Center for a varie ty of programs including Creative Playgroup and After school Care. The ‘J’ is in the' process of lining up tennis facilities and soccer practice space for the membership, and will communicate these new arrangements directly to members when plans are finalized. The Fall Program Guide lists the locations of each of the programs. WH THE JCC CENTER OF THINGS % \ \ O' Afterschool Care Program For the first time, the Jewish Comir.unity Center is offering an after school care program, Monday through Friday from two to six in the afternoon. It will be located in the children’s house at the Hebrew Academy. Parents may elect a monthly, weekly or drop-in arrangement for their elementary school-aged children. Upon arriving, children will be greeted with snacks. They will have the opportunity to be assisted with homework, to participate in out door and indoor games, and to celebrate events with special activities (e.g.: Baking birthday cupcakes, enjojdng a guest musician). The pro gram is available as of Septemter 4 and runs throughout the school year. Parents are strongly encouraged to pre-register. Hours: Monday - Friday, 2 - 6 p.m. Location: Hebrew Academy, 910 Sardis Lane Fee: Monthly: $115 M/$130 NM Weekly: $30 M/ $35 NM Daily: $7 M/18 NM Registrati^n Information This catalogue of activities presents information on programs for the period beginning September 1984. HOW TO REGISTER 1. Review these pages with your family and decide which activities you and your children wish to participate in. 2. Since registration begins immediatdy, complete and mail in the registration form on the next page, or bring it to the Center office, with the specified fee. 3. Registration must be accompanied by the FULL FEE and telephone registration will be accepted for all classes which ^gin prior to Sept. 22. 4. Classes begin as each is indicated. 5. Payment will not be accepted after the first class, unless prior arrangements are made. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS All activities are scheduled on a minimum number of participants. We regret that should a class not register suffi cient numbers, it will be cancelled and all fees will be refunded. Because classes are based on a limited enrollment, activity fees are not refundable upon cancellation by a partici pant unless the place can be filled. YOUR SUQQESTIONS ARE ENCOURAGED The Center’s activities are based upon the interests and concerns of our members.
