Hoffman On January 2, full-time Infant Care opened its doors for the first time. The response was overwhelming. The JCC is re ceiving several calls daily about the program. We are even get ting inquiries from moms who aren’t due until August, Because of this terrific response, we are in the process of starting a waiting list for 1991. Presently we have only a few select open ings left. So if you’re interested, please call the JCC. The hours for full-time care are 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The children have the opportunity to explore different types of activities every day. They go to the gym, do art activities, listen to stories and music, sing songs, play games, go outside and a whole lot more. There are also the every day routine things like snacks and lunch, naps and diaper chang ing. But most of all, we provide lots of hugs, cuddling and indi vidual attention in the most caring environment around. We have a knowledgeable and lov ing staff that thoroughly enjoys working with your children. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year filled with many more successes. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact me at the JCC, 366-5007. There were games to play, dreidel bags to decorate and the traditional foods to eat. The afternoon concluded with a professional storyteller and a family candle- lighting ceremony. Many thanks to all of the JCC staff and the many volunteers who helped make the day a smashing suc cess! A New Tradition How does a delicious brunch, games to play, a magician to entertain you, movies and arts and crafts for the kids, the athletic area at your disposal sound to you? The 60 people who attended thought that sounded great. They all came for “Kibbitz and Nosh,” held on Christmas Day here at the “J.” You can count on this being a tradition.
