The bride-to-be is the daughter of Susan and Dr. Joel Martin of Hollywood, Florida. The groom- elect is the son of Lynn and Paul Edelstein of Charlotte and the late Sam Lerner. An August wedding is planned in Florida. Stern-Katz Lorie Robyn Stern and Lee Robert Katz, both of Charlotte, have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Elaine Stern of Charlotte and the late Arthur Stern. The groom-elect is the son of Jan and Ron Katz of Dumont, New Jersey. The couple, both formerly of New Jersey, plan an early fall wedding there. Musler-Brooks Amy Beth Brooks and Steven J. Musler were married Jan. 13 at the Hebrew Educational Al liance Congregation in Denver, Colorado. The bride is the daughter of Carol and Morey Brooks of Denver. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado and is Regional Director of Young Judaea. The groom is the son of Paula and Norman Musler of Char lotte. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and of the graduate school of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a nurse in Denver. The couple honeymooned in Mexico. They live in Denver, Colorado.
