Jim Mittenthal, Camp Direetor, will meet with new and returning families, answer questions per taining to the 2015 summer eamp season, and provide applieations for registration. To eelebrate Sukkot, our ehapter Shliehim planned “Pizza in the Hut.” We learned about Sukkot and the rituals sur rounding the holiday, ate pizza under the stars and then had a eompetition as to whieh group eould build the best mini-Sukkah. It was a lot of fun. The weekend of Oetober 24- 26, 35 new members to BBYO from Charlotte attended their first BBYO weekend eonvention “MIT-AIT.” MITs are new mem bers to BBG (the girl’s part of BBYO) and AITs are new mem bers to AZA (the boys’ part of BBYO). The Charlotte teens joined one hundred other new members from aeross North Car olina and southern Virginia to learn about BBYO, eelebrate I'f . Shabbat, and meet new friends. We have a busy ealendar planned for the next few weeks. On Friday, November 7, BBYO teens aeross the world will eele brate BBYO Global Shabbat. The theme this year is Heart to Heart, One People, One Shabbat; Stronger Together. We are exeited to spend Shabbat with our ehapter members and know that teens aeross world are doing the same thing. Charlotte BBYO will also have teams supporting Jeremy’s Jump this year on November 16, at Sky High. We are gearing up for our Annual Sweetheart Beau Danee whieh will be on Deeem- ber 6, in Lemer Hall.
