The Charlotte Jewish News - June-July 2015 - Page 9 Jewish Family Services JFS Major Donors and Legacy Family Circle Donors Honored at Private Wine Tasting Jewish Family Services hosted a wine tasting on April 18 to thank our major donors and Legacy Family Circle members. JFS Legacy Family Circle member and major donor David Goodman spoke to the audience about the importance of making an impact during one’s life, and how leaving a legacy allows them to continue to change the landscape even after they've gone. For the second year in a row, Old Stone Winery pro vided the wine from their 130 acre Salisbury estate which currently has over 20 acres of Muscadine grapes planted in the vineyard. In addition to the Muscadines, Old Stone sources wine grapes as lo cally as possible, with many com ing out of Rowan County. The wine tasting was also sponsored by South State Bank, which has been serving the financial needs of individuals and businesses since 1934, with offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Thank you to our spon sors for this engaging event.
