A disturbed young man named Ricky (Antonio Banderas) decides to give an actress the opportunity to know him fully and to love him. Her name is Marina (Victoria Abril), and she is a bad actress with a background of pornography. But to Ricky she is a perfect angel, and that is why he kid naps her and ties her to the bed while he attempts to convince her to love him. March 17 • Fayetteville Holly Near at the Fayetteville Peace Rally Day-long commemoration and protest of the illegal war on and occupation of Iraq will begin in the park ing lot of the Cumberland County Health Department at 227 Fountainhead Ln., at 10:30 a.m.At noon, the 2007 Fayetteville Peace March will follow a 3/4 mile route up Hay St. to Rowan Park. The Main Stage Rally, from 1-4 p.m., will feature recording artist, activist, author and icon. Holly Near. Other featured perform ers are singing ensemble. Fruit of Labor, blues singer Dan Speller and comedian and satirist Dave Lippman. March 23 • Charlotte Celtic Woman Musical ensemble comprised of six Irish female artists: vocalists Chloe Agnew, Orla Fallon, Lisa Kelly, Meav N1 Mhaolchatha and Hayley Westenra and violinist Mdirdad Nesbitt. The group’s repertoire ranges from traditional Celtic tunes to modern songs, including cov ers of Enya and Clannad.
