Naval Academy Defeated, 45-38 Fine defensive play, which limited the Naval Academy to but six field goals in the first half, paved the way for the Cloudbust ers to register a 45 to 88 victory at Annapolis last Saturday after noon. It was Bud Palmer who did most of the Cloudbuster scoring, but the entire first team of Myers, Skaug, Dye, Elser, and Palmer all played important roles in the victory. A tight zone defense kept the Middies from scoring a field goal during the first eight minutes of play, and at halftime the Pre- Flighters were ahead, 33 to 16. Bud Palmer had accounted for 20 of those 33 points, and he added 5 more in the second half to give him 25 for the afternoon. Other than Palmer, Skaug had 9 points and Myers 8.
