IMN EXPECTS BEACH TRAFFIC TO BRING NEAR lOOO-MONTH Hello "ya-all" from IMN, With the beach season here, no doubt an Increase In NRSA's can be expected in and out of this station. The fish are biting already and quite a number of people are migrating to the sea shore for the summer. We ex pect this season to be the best yet as far as revenue for PAl, The way things are going. May 1953 will be th’e best month for boarding passengers. Mr. Golson predicted 722. As it stands now we should crowd 1000 and that, my friends, is something out of IMN, If 1 can remember correctly, May 1949 was the first time any station boarded 1000 and that was CVG. Remember Cowen? We in the south are a little slow starting, but this year should be IT I The two extra trips are helping a lot, but come June they are going V i a MY R. That will help MY R, but I am afraid it will hurt us a little. The unexpected happened May 8. Dick Mahn, chief agent, went and got married. His better half is Pauline Jung, radio operator for NAL-IMN, Hooe their troubles are little ones and all that sort of stuff* Seems like all the NAL gals are out after PA| handsome men. First, F/O Whatley got hitched to Nina King NAL-IMN CTO, and now Dick Mahn went and took the last eligible NAL female. They call it Inter line relations III We welcome some new faces around F/O Herb Foltz is with us from INTF and F/O Hugh Baldock from TWA-SDF, The addition of new flights also made some promotions Caot.
