THE BROTHERS FOUR pictured as they board their flight in Lynchburg. The vocal group was in town for a recording date at a local college. They also flew Pied mont last fall when they were giving a performance at the University of Virginia. ifFTRMATlON DON AMECHE is checked in at the Piedmont counter by Bruce Ball. Ameche, in LEX for the races, was taking Flight 351 out of Lexing ton. From his smile Mr. Ameche seems to be almost as happy about his forthcoming flight as we know Bruce Ball was about checking him in. FUN-FILLED CHARTER was sponsored recently by the Phillips 66 and Tri Oil Companies. Passengers were dealers in the Atlanta area who were winners of a contest set up by the companies. Itinerary of the trip included a visit to Marineland in St. Augus tine, nightclubbing in Fort Lauderdale, and a tour of Silver Springs near Ocalla. Look ing left to right, the crew consisted of Capt. Bud Gilley, F/O Pete Lindsey, and F.A. C. B. Cross. Hosts for the charter were (back row, fourth from right) T. V. Patton, Presi dent, Tri Oil Co.; and (back row, fifth from right) L. G. Denny, Division Manager, Atlanta Division, Phillips 66. MISS NORTH CAROLINA, Ann Herring, poses for a quick picture before boarding her flight from Cincinnati. A frequent Piedmont passenger. Miss Herring at-_ tended the Ohio Valley Travel Show as one of the representatives in the North Carolina exhibit. Piedmont was a part of the exhibit with a booth manned by company personnel. A different sort of tour is shown above, made up of officers attending a national security seminar at INT.
