John Payne ond Skp Homeier portray the brothers who vie for tho love of the same woiiian, enacted by Mona Fre«^m^ji, and seek different roads to fane o.nd fortune. Payne plays the older, resolute and de pendable one, while Homeier is seen as a hot-headed, trigger-happy but basically loyal lad. How this conf lict is brought to a happy but logical, conclusion makes for exciting, dramatic and highly-pleasing screen entertainment. To secure backgrounds which has just the right tone and flo.vor for the story’s setting, associate producer-director Joe Kcne took his coiupany of thespians and technicians to the rugged virgin lands of Utah near tho town of St. George. The troupe lived a "pioneer” existence for ali.ost a fortnight while cinematographer Reggie L^-Jining captured the breath-taking beauty of the landscapes and the fast- paced action of the story’s plot with his Trucolor cameras.
