Mr, and Mrs, A, J, Gocking will be spending the week end at Mrytle Beach,S.C* Expected to arrive this week end to spend some time with Mr. and Mrs, Paul Carroll are their son and his family, Capt. and Mrs. Paul Carroll, Jr., and sons, Paul Tyler and John William, of Sherman, Texas, who will be leaving for the Phillipines after a few days* visit here. Dr, Ernest M, Willis, of Washington, D, C., has been visiting his parents, Mr, and Mrs. H. H. Willis, at their home on Little Bear Pen. Week end guests of Mr, and Mrs, Willis were Mr. and Mrs, M, A. Bearden, of Clemson, S, C, Mr, and Mrs, Charles Watson, of Edge field, S, C,, and Mr, and Mrs, Jack Steel- mon and daughter, Diane, recently visited Mr. and Mrs, Don Watson. Mrs. Richard Holt and daughter, Betty, attended the wedding of Mrs. Holt's nephew, Charles Barger, to Miss Velvia Holden on Saturday in Asheville, N, C,, at St, Paul's Methodist Church, Mr, and Mrs. John Cleckley, of At lanta, Ga., spent last week end with Mrs, Cleckley's sister, Mrs, Louis Edwards. Their daughter Laura returned to Atlanta with them. Rich ard Boone, Stuart Whitman and Tony Fran- ciosa star with Wende Wagner, Warner And erson, football star Jim Brown, and Ed mond 0*Brien. The story tells of four men; Boone, Whitman, Franciosa and Brown, who are sent by the U. S, Cavalry to recover 2,000 stolen rifles. It is feared that these rifles will be sold to the Apaches who will use them to drench the Southwest in violence.
