We can hope that the change will be for the better. When the seniors walk across the stage next month they will have completed a broad and diversified educational ex perience. They may have majored in business, but they also studied art. They may have prepared for the ministry, but they struggled with algebra. They may be certified English teachers, but they did some work in a science laboratory. And if they are nurses, they also studied religion and music and literature. What will they find here when they return for future homecomings? No doubt they will find innovation, change, and new approaches to education. But while they were here they received the best we had to offer. The experience of the next student generation is unknown now, but it will be different.
