March 26, 2010 | The Clarion Odds and Ends Page 7 Chef Boy-ar-Dave: Strawberry Cucumber Springtime Relish Average Cost of Meal: $5- $7 Time of Preparation: 10 Serving Size: 5 or more people Ingredients: Ingredients: 1 Pack of Strawberries 1 Good Sized Cucumber 1 Small Green Pepper 2 Small Shallots 1 Tablespoon of Sugar Balsamic Vinaigrette Instructions: Dice up the Strawberries, Cucumber, Green Pepper, and Shal lots as fine as possible. Mix into a large bowl and add Sugar Pour Vinaigrette in incrementally to taste. You want every thing covered but not floating in the vinaigrette Goes great as a salad dressing or dip for chips or bread.
