Veterans gathered Nov. 11, as Reginald Sniith, Instructor T&I, led toe on-campus Veterans Day ceremony. They gave honor to all those who have given a part of themselves or there all, to keep this country and other countries free. Tim O’Brian, U.S. Supreme Court Reporter, talked to more than 150 students at Gaston College, about what his job is like. Star Trek’s own Scottie, beamed on campus and brought an enjoyable evening to all who able to get out and see his program. Dressing for success “How to dress for siuccess” was the topic of discussion in Patsy Turner’s Personal Developmenmt clasi: recently. Patsy, an instructor in Business and Fashion Merchandising, said that all these young ladies and one gentleman (lucky fellow), participated in a critique of themselves based on attire they selected believing it to be proper for a job interview. Ironically, this was also the day to dress up for Halloween! (Did some of these students dress for both occasions?) Gaston College’s new float makes it debute in several parades this month.
