K. Davis, a member of the State Dei)artment of Education and an aRont for the Rosen- wald fund. , In a very interestiuR way, Mr. Davis dealt with the three familiar mottos, “Work comiuers all thinKS,” ‘‘Aim hiKh,” and “Where there’s a will there’s a way.” He discussed these from a different anRle and made us see from another viewpoint a side that has been hidden from those who have never made a careful study of these bits of wisdom handed down to us. He also emphasized the fact that ’they were only true under certain circumstances. Dr. Davis is an old friend of our President Emeritus, Dr. P. W. Moore, and his visits are looketi forward to with much pleasure by all connected with the school.—Velma Turnage, Reporter. — o The Senior Normal class gave the first regular student Lyceum program for the year.
