C.‘ The library at North Carolina Wesleyan Col lege has been granted ac cess to the IN-WATSIn- formation Service of the North Carolina State Li brary effective April 1. Public libraries have been using this unique service since February, 1968, and other types of libraries have had access to it through them. This new policy gives the li braries of four-year col leges and universities di rect around - the -clock access to the State Library via Inward Wide Area Telephone Service (IN-WATS). An automa tic answering and record ing device will accept calls when the State Li brary is closed. The principle use col lege and university li braries will make of IN- WATS Information Ser vice will be to identify location of materials prior to requesting them through interlibrary loan.
