QUALITY COMMITTEE CHECKS BANNER WORK A close in spection of style 1867 is made by the Quality Con trol Committee of Plant #4 to determine the amount of hole s found in the num ber, a boy's pattern made on the Banner ma chine s. The findings of the committee will be reported to the Knitting Depart ment for cor rective action. Members of the committee are: P. C. McLain, Paul Shore, Carrie War ren, John Boyer, Pearl Beeson and Lou Perdue. The Quality Control Committees of Plants #1 and #4 meet weekly to make routine inspections of the work in the various productive stages. Quality prob lems found in the departments are then referred to the proper supervisor so he can study the problem in efforts to improve the quality. The operators serving on the Quality Control Committee also gain a greater appreciation of the other operators' quality problems. Through these mutual understandings have come improvement in our quality. More and more operators are becoming quality conscious; and when this happens, the quality of hose we ship is better than before. This attractive new home in Jamestown belongs to Mae Gordon and her family. Mae is employed in the Finishing Department of the Pointer. WHAT DO YOU SPEND?
