FERGUSON AND MOOREFIELD RETURN FROM ARMY ber 28, 1961, with the 111th Signal Clifford Chappell, knitting room foreman, second shift, welcomes back to the knitting room two service men, James Ferguson and Lawrence Moorefield, who were recently discharged from the Army. On the right is James Ferguson, a knitter who was with the 237th Engineer Battalion in Heilbron, Germany. James attended Trinity High School before being employed in our knitting department on April 21, 1958. He entered service with the Army on December 2, 1958, and returned to his job in the knitting department upon his release from active duty on February 19, 1962. James is single and lives with his parents at 125 Julian Avenue in Arch dale. Lawrence Moorefield has been employed since August 1, 1961, and was recalled to active duty on Octo- Battalion of the U. S. Army at Fort Meade, Maryland. Moorefield had previously served with the Army at Fort Jackson and Fort Rucker from July 8, 1957, to July 7, 1959. He at tended Jamestown High School and worked at Plant #1 from 1951 to 1954. The Moore fie Ids have one child and live on Route #3, Thomasville, N. C. BLOOD DONORS Adams-Millis Corporation was well represented at the April visit of the Red Cross Bloodmobile, with 44 employees volunteering to donate blood. The following volunteered and were accepted: Grover B. Alexander, Odell Anderson, Robert D. Breeden, Dorothy L. Canoy, Dennis M. Carter, Mitchell C. Carter, Virginia S. Coggins, Mary Agnes Creech, Rachel C. Crotts, P.M. Daily, Daniel A. Davis, Lottie E. Davis, Frank Dingier, Cyrus Dockery, Grayson W. Brady, Bill R. Hayworth, Ben F. Hooks, Pat R. Hunt, John R. Wilson, George A. Robinson, Edna Routh, Charles M. Sands, George L. Sledge, Agnes P. Smith, Aldine C. Smith, Paul W. Solomon, C. Douglas Streetman, J. W. Snotherly, Joanne A. Summey, Charles T. Swaney, Roy Lee Watson, Elsie S. White, Smith Wilmoth, Elaine Hornady, Billie Dun bar and Lana Cecil. The following employees volun teered to donate but were rejected: Carolyn Honeycutt, Dorothy Hughes, Marion G. Hunt, Edith M. Jones, Joseph W. Lewis, Zulene E. Luck, Virginia D. Martin, Hilda Moorefield, Jerry Leon Whitt, Frances Wood and Ida M. Yow. The next visit of the Bloodmobile will be on May 21 and 22. -fe-
