Wonder where Betty goes every night to hear all the jokes she brings to work every day. Office ' t- Norman Loy, son of Carlene Loy, transferer, was wounded in Vietnam on March 21. He is now recuperating in Japan. There's a cute little finishing room girl wearing the cutest pixie hair-do. (Guess who). Fay Hepler and her family from Florida visited her sister, Marie Kidd. Fay is a former employee of Plant #1. Everyone is looking forward to having Eva Dean l^ck at work soon. Eva has undergone surgery twice but is doing very well now. Welcome back to Pauline Loy eind Marion Hedgecock. Both have had major operations. We miss Gladys Rogers \^o has been transferred to Plant #1. Evelyn Crews, transferer, cind her husband, Norman, Imve returned from a trip to Jekyll Island, Georgia. Norman won the trip through his job. Congratulations to Delane Jessup, transferer, who graduated from The Star Stenographic School of Business. We offer our condolences to Gail Warren who lost her little French poodle. We hope it won't be too long before she can buy another one. The office staff helped Superin tendent E. C. Tatum celebrate his (?) birthday with a big Ccike and all the trimmings. PLANT #4: Knitting Department Sarah Nelson and William Frank lin Payne, Jr. were married at their home at 125 Lindsay Street in Kerne rsville on June 3, 1967. Sareih is employed in the Knitting Depart ment of Plant #4. PLANT #6: Maynard Miller has another grand child—this time a granddaughter and the first girl in the family. There are twin sons and two grandsons. Neva Flowers is a new grand mother. Her grandson was born in February and his name is John Hicks, m, (Cont'd on page 18.) - 17
